This Privacy Policy explains how RapidCut AI ("RapidCut", "we", "us") handles information when you use our website, the RapidCut panel for Adobe Premiere Pro, and our related services (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Account data: email address and an authentication token created when you sign up.
Billing data: handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card numbers. We receive only the subscription status and the identifier needed to link your payment to your account.
Media you process: when you use AI features (e.g. transcription, silence detection), the relevant audio is sent to our server and to our processing providers solely to return the result.
Usage data: basic logs (timestamps, IP, plan status) needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

We use your information to provide the Service, process your subscription, validate your license, deliver AI results, prevent abuse, and provide support. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Media processing & retention

Audio you submit for AI features is processed transiently to generate your result and is not used to train models. Temporary files are deleted after processing. Your finished video footage stays on your own machine — RapidCut does not upload your project files or video.

4. Third-party processors

We rely on trusted providers to operate: Stripe (payments), and speech/AI providers (e.g. Deepgram) and stock providers used only to fulfill the specific feature you invoke. Each processes data only as needed to provide its function.

5. Your rights

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit via HTTPS, access controls, secret protection) to safeguard your data. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
